When I Knew Jess Would Be With Me Always

Jess is 31 years old, autistic, blind, has hydrocephalus, and gross and fine motor impairments. She lives at home with me and requires 24/7 supervision. A follower asked the question, when did I know she would be living with me as an adult?

While I’m not sure that I ever reached the point where I could actually envision Jess living independently, I do know that I got to a point of knowing this was forever.
