I’m so happy to say that participation in Bragitude Day 1 completely exceeded my expectations. Thank you so much to everyone who participated, and even to those who didn’t but sent encouraging messages.
After a few weeks of exhausting activity, my bragitude is again focused on recovery from running out of steam.
Brag
My Brag for today is that I stayed in bed until 8:40, even though I had been awake for almost 2 hours. I chose to pursue rest and relaxation as long as possible because I know that is what I need this week over productivity.
Gratitude
I am grateful for an extended session of healing peace and quiet this morning, with only the sounds of a chilly wind blowing through the trees in the backyard.

Your Turn!!
What is your bragitude for day? Please share in the comments below.
Greetings from South Dakota (currently 21 degrees).
My BRAG for today is that I’m on a 5 day stretch without a Lupus & R.A. flare up. I’ve been able to get so much stuff done.
I take care of my father who has Parkinson’s Disease and dementia. Some days can be ehard/stressful/trying/sad but I wouldn’t change it for the world. He’s my hero and my heart breaks for him as he was drafted at the age of 18 and spent many years in Vietnam. Exposure to Agent Orange, the chemical sprayed to clear out the thick jungles in Vietnam, is what caused the Parkinson’s. There are so many Vietnam Veterans suffering from Agent Orange related cancers and illnesses. 😥
❤ ❤ GRATITUDE ❤ ❤
While tucking my dad in to bed this evening He grabbed my hand and said “Thank you for taking such good care of me”. “You are such a sweetheart and so precious to me”.
Because of the dementia, comments like that are few and far between. Hearing him say that reassured me that he feels he is getting great care and feels loved. ❤ ❤ ❤ I’m grateful for my father and for him allowing me to take care of him just as he has done for me the past 40 years.
What a sweet gratitude. Congrats on your 5-day stretch! Thanks for sharing Crispy Amanda 😊

Brag – My Brag of the day so far is that I went to bed earlier than ususal last evening and stayed in bed longer than I ususally do. I´m a night owl.
Gratitude – I´m so grateful that my third Covid vaccination went well. After the second one I woke up with a fit of shivering and cramp, so I was a little afraid this time.
Glad your vaccine went well!

Thanks for your participation! We got to see a beautiful rainbow while we were at Epcot on our recent trip to Disney. That seemed really special. ❤️
My brag is that I lasted almost all day with my clients that both have dementia and were very trying. My gratitude is that I can go home and relax while I still have all my marbles! LOL!
Thank you for your patience with dementia clients. As a daughter of a mother with dementia, I totally understand how trying it can be and agree that is worth a brag! I’m grateful every day for the care team supporting my mom (and indirectly her family and friends). 💜
💜
Congrats on hanging in there! I’m sure some days are definitely more difficult than others.
