Garden Expansion – 2015

2015 Garden Expansion

My 2014 garden was such a personal success that I needed more. I had to have more space. By 2015, I was older and wiser enough (with an aching back enough) to ask for help. My good pal (and father of my children) agreed to team up with me to make room for a 2015 garden expansion.

A real tiller is added to our gardening tools.

Campbell just could not understand why I preferred to garden close to the house when I had such a
perfect spot to garden at the bottom of the hill. I welcomed him to plant in the lower garden if he wanted to. So, he purchased this tiller from Home Depot to make himself a real garden spot. Also, we got Miracle Gro Garden Soil for Flowers and Veggies on sale and used it to supplement the soil in my new garden tier.

Maybe I still have a sentimental attachment to my tiny gardens. Lettuce was a perfect crop for that area. Enough sun, not too much sun.IMG_0206

And in the summer of 2015 – my sister outdid me again with another bonus kid.

Amazing adventure. Love the pictures of you hard working people, and especially of the beautiful produce. Looking forward to pictures of this year’s garden and resulting harvest.

How utterly delightful! From the pictures, anyone would think you were farming acres! Good luck with the 2016 gardens.
