Jess the Adventurer

Jess has always been an adventurer. At 12 months of age, she was so courageous she would stand at the edge of a swimming pool and jump in the water to me. Even as a young toddler she was always climbing and exploring. It seemed every time I turned around she was inside or on top of something – like, standing on the piano keys, sitting on top of her folded up high chair, climbing inside a box of toys, or inside a kitchen drawer full of pans.

So, it has been no surprise that Jess has continued that trend on in to adulthood. Leading up to our Disney trips, all Jess talks about over and over again is riding the rides – ALL of the rides.

However, like most of the rest of us, the older she gets, the less brave she gets about thrill rides. So, right when it’s about time to step onto a ride, she gets really nervous. But she still wants to do it.

The result? Hysteria, followed by some really good belly laughs.
