Keely is a Friend
Much to Jessica’s dismay, Keely was my friend first. Jess frequently tries to suggest otherwise. Keely also used to be a co-worker of mine when I was working in a hospital as a Registered Nurse. Keely is one of those people who is full of life, laughter, and personality, kind to everyone, and puts smiles on the faces of those around her.
How They Got To Know Each Other
While I was at work, more than once when I was on the phone with Jess, she overheard Keely talking in the background. Jess immediately perceived that Keely was a person she had to know more about. Keely swiftly agreed to talk to Jess and Jess pulled all of the details out of Keely that Jess wants to know about – do you have a dog, are you sick, have you had a cold, does your tummy hurt, how bad did it hurt, and did you cry about it?
The First Time They Met There Was No Going Back
The time I took Jess to the hospital to meet Keely, well, that was the day. It should go down in history. Jess asked Keely if her tummy was hurting. Keely played the game and said, “Yes.” Then, Jess said, “Keely, cry,” and not knowing the can of worms she was opening, Keely pretended to cry. Jess has been pretty much obsessed since that day.
Staying In Touch
After I stopped working at the hospital, Keely came to visit us at our house, and we also met for lunch a few times. But as life happens, we mostly lost touch with ‘the real Keely’. However, during one of the visits I got a picture of Keely and Jess together and I put it in a frame for Jess. Ever since then, that Keely, ‘the picture Keely’ has been in our lives full-time.
Most of the time since then, ‘the real Keely’ didn’t know the degree to which she was literally a part of our lives, every day. Every single day, ‘the picture Keely’ has been involved in decisions, moods, quiet time, bedtime, vacations, our tubing trips, our Walt Disney World trips, etc.
I’m not sure how far back but at some point, Granny started helping Jess text Keely, and occasionally call her. That has evolved to a regular schedule of texting once day a week, and sometimes talking on the phone once a week.
The Best Christmas Present Ever
For Christmas this year, the real Keely came to hang out with Jess for a while. They got lots of talking in, read lots of coloring books, sat in the kitchen at the table and had Christmas goodies, and Keely even rocked Jess in Jessica’s recliner while they rested. Jess was in absolute heaven.
Future
Jess likes to frequently remind me that she has plans to retire to the mountains with Keely when Keely is old and decrepit and retires from work.
In the meantime, Jess has plans to spend the night with her during Spring Break.
I just joined and am thrilled to be on the ride. I have enjoyed every “bideo” and can’t wait to see more and get to know you all . Thanks for letting me join.
Such a beautiful gift of love! We as human beings have a great capacity and need for love, it’s as important as the air we breathe! So happy for any friendship that sustains us! Keep sharing the “meaningful” relationships that our Jess enjoys! Love your family and the open hearts you all share!
Amen!! I believe The Bible. When Father God gave us special gifts he says the #1 gift he gave us was Love!! That is the one gift that we never run out of and it sends to grow bigger and bigger the more Love we share. It’s truly a miracle how that works! Your channel has given so many of us another opportunity to LIVE even more. Even though I have never met you and your family in person through today’s technology we can still spread the love!! It’s so Beautiful. Even though there is some serious controversy over some channels that are exploiting their autistic and or disabled children for their own personal gain, I don’t get that feeling from your vloggs. Jessica truly loves making her Bideos! I am sorry to say I have been made aware of more than 1 channel that takes advantage of their child’s adversities and stopped following those channels.
Autistic Interpretations is truly an authentic, loving, caring peek into the lives of a family of supporters. Your family is hands on involved and play such a beautiful roll in supporting each one of you, not just Jessica. Your supporters “The Goodones” is a family in and of itself. I can’t say I’ve seen that on too many channels. You are on top of each comment and that alone must be a full time job. Still not sure how you are able to do that and keep up with filming and editing. Not to mention taking care of Jess full time and now Hannah, 2 puppy’s, 1 senior pup, and did I see a cat somewhere in that mix as well? Enough of all that, I’m exhausted just writing about a little if what you do can’t imagine actually living that daily life. Kudos to you Valerie!!! You are an inspiration!! How you are able to continue to be positive, even though I’ve seen Jess throw some, not so nice comments your way you squash that negativity with your love and humor! A true testimony to Nonnie and Grandad for raising such a strong force.
May God Confine To Bless You And Your Family
I’ll continue to pray for you all
Striving everyday to becoming the best Good One I can be

Thank you for your kindness. Yes, unconditional love is the key.
I just posted a long comment that I thought was being posted to the channel. If I posted in the wrong area, I apologize. I hope that Valerie and family can still see it. If not maybe you could forward it. Thank you so very much
I love this story. This is so special and I’m sure when Keely found out her heart melted just like mine did reading this. God puts people in our lives at the right time for the right reasons.
I have always wondered about Keely and if she was a real person. Now I know!☺️
Yes! lol
Made me weep reading your blog today and about the connection and love or bond you described so sweetly between Jess and Keely. I too had several students with autism I was very close too and often dream of how they are as adults. I was their speech therapist when they were 3 through some of their elementary years. Now they are grown. They affected my life every day. I so enjoy seeing Jess and her interactions with you all and especially when she’s happy. Thank you so much for sharing. Angels on earth. ♥️♥️♥️♥️
Thank you! ❤️
I love the details that you shared with us regarding the story behind the rock Star, Keely…I couldn’t read it fast enough, actually. When you said “Keely even rocked Jess”…”Jess was in heaven”…I couldn’t have loved the vision in my head more! What a precious vision that must have been! Can’t wait to start delving into your blog from start to current. You are a fabulous writer! Thank you! Wendy (Roys_Mom)
I can feel the love and happiness vibrating from the photo you shared. It’s so pure. ♥️♥️♥️
