Playing Catch-up

A Disney vacation is a busy vacation. I’m behind on telling our tales.

Day 3 started at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. We checked out the new Toy Story Land. I was happy Jess was excited to try out Alien Swirling Saucers. She did well with no major ‘I’m going to die’ screaming.

Slinky Dog Dash

The same cannot be said about Slinky Dog Dash. She thought she was dying.

Her reward for completing the task was tater tots from Woody’s Lunch Box. Mine was a hard cider.Next was Toy Story Mania. I didn’t get any pictures of Jess because I was having way too much fun.

Frozen Sing-A-Long

The frozen sing-a-long show was a first for us. Because of J’s chair, we were in the front row. We might have had an option for the back row, I don’t remember.

The show was LOUD, plus sitting that close to the stage we got to smell the ‘fog’ and it kind of smelled bad. I handed Jessica her headphones before the show started and she put them on right away.Noise canceling headphones are completely new to Jess and I have to say that I’m surprised at how much she had chosen to use them.

Opting Out

Jess chose to skip Tower of Terror and Rock’n Roller Coaster. We used the rider swap option and asked to stay in line together which worked out great.Jess was quite happy to have skipped both of those.

Epcot

Tuesday evening we headed back to Epcot for a much cooler visit. Our visit was a leisurely one, strolling, watching “Illuminations” and riding Frozen Ever After.Three tired bodies made it back to the resort afterwards.

more later…
